Gary and I wanted to thank you both for the extraordinary service while selling one of our rental homes. You both went beyond expectations in every possible way. We had a unique circumstance where we were out of the country and then cruising while our home was in escrow. Yesterday our property closed and we are so excited that now we can move ahead with the plans for the next stage of our lives! "It is my pleasure to share with you our experience with The Skolnick Team in Rancho Cucamonga. Our family has lived in Rancho Cucamonga for over 20 years. During that time my wife and I would occasionally visit open houses in our general area just to get a feel of the current value trends. More often than not, those open house showings were being conducted by The Skolnicks. Over time we recognized their consistent success in selling these homes.
As time went on I also noticed and appreciated their pride in our country and community, as they would provide American Flags for the lawn of entire neighborhoods for holidays like The 4th of July.
More recently as the economy turned sour, my wife very unexpectedly lost her job in a national down sizing by her employer. This had a devastating effect on our ability to hang on to our house. As our struggle to do so continued, my wife shared her concerns with her best friend and our former neighbor who had relocated our of state. That friend had sold her house by using The Skolnick Team. She encouraged us to contact the Skolnicks. After some time had past our friend knew that we were just reluctant to face the fact that we were losing the house slowly. So she called David Skolnick and asked him to contact us. (yes, she told us she had done so.)
After meeting with David and evaluating our options he helped us determine that a short sale was our best course of action.
Our house was put up for sale and an open house was held. The Skolnick Team sold the house on the first day. That was the good news. The bad news was that our mortgage was held by an (unknown) investor group rather than a bank. As a result we had to deal with a real estate servicing company rather than directly with the investors. It took seven months to get final approval of our short sale.
During this time The Skolnick Team was able to hold the deal together. They faithfully contacted the servicing company every week until the sale was finalized. They promptly updated us"
